Questions people ask
Straight answers about the price, the preview and what you keep.
What do I get for £500?
A website designed and built for your business, made to work well on phones first. You see a free preview of it before you pay anything.
What does the £20 a month cover?
Hosting, security (SSL), your web address, and small changes such as new menu items, prices, photos and seasonal specials.
Is there a contract?
No. There is no contract, so you are not tied in.
Is the preview really free?
Yes. Soton Sites builds an example site for your business before you commit to anything. If you decide not to go ahead, you pay nothing.
Who owns the web address?
You do. Your web address is registered in your name, not in the name of Soton Sites.
What happens if I want to leave?
You keep your web address and you get the files for your site.
Can you do bigger changes later?
Yes. Small changes are included in the £20 a month. Bigger jobs, like a new page or a new feature, are quoted separately.
Which areas do you cover?
Southampton and the rest of Hampshire.
What kinds of business do you work with?
Local businesses such as cafés, restaurants, bakeries, salons, barbers, clinics and trades.
Are the sites in your Work section real businesses?
No. They are concept designs for fictional businesses, made to show what Soton Sites can build. Each one says so in a banner at the top.
